Press release

“Art in Varese today “ is an overview of works currently made by artists in this province as well as surroundings areas.
This exhibit’s concept is based on both the technical and poetic characteristics that can be found in the works, which belong to diverse currents, thus offering an intense experience to the observer.

From the old masters to the modern protagonists, the artists in this province have always been searching new ways to express themselves, an exciting quest whose results this exhibition captures in all its shades.

This area is rich in artists, associations, and dynamic artistic activities; we have chosen the highest profile artists from this fertile ground. In the catalog you will also find a tribute to some masters who recently passed away: Enrico Baj, Floriano Bodini, Gottardo Ortelli, Franco Rognoni. Their works were pivotal in this territory’s cultural evolution.
