Press release
Brazil is not just a physical place, but also a cultural space on
which many different theories and possibilities thrive. It is both the “yes” and
the “no”.
Brazil has always been a country with one of the most complex cultural
environments, due to the three races that live here and the vast number of
immigrants from other nations that continuously flow into it, thus fueling its
tendency towards plurality.
One of the complex problems - in terms of art and literature - generated by the
peculiarities of this country is, in fact, the mix of local elements with
universal elements: where does “local” end and where does “universal” begin?

The Parisi Valle Museum in Maccagno had never
opened its doors to photographs before, but now it finally displays 50 shots
from high-level authors. These photos can capture the observers, taking them to
the innermost corners of one of the most beautiful and controversial lands in
the world: Brazil.
